If I lived in California
- Pachangacha
So, these boys, are the coolest of the cool, and I’m not being biased here, because I was fortunate enough to boom in the cape with a few of them, this summer.
Anyways, the band, subsides in Amherst, mass, in a cool house, that’s named after one of their dogs: Babe. They know how to have fun. I have a lot of respect for their whole ish.
Pachangacha’s sound is very weezer-esque, which makes sense, Bryce, the guitarist, and vocals, is a huge weezer geek…trust me, the first time I met him, he made a point to correct my error when talking about riverS cuomo, the “s” was a big deal at the end, as it should be…I was talking out of my ass, and would of done the same to some drunk girl, at my house. Sorry, quick anecdote. Although this group shares the El Scorcho vibe, they seem to accomplish, what many fail to do, which is maintain a level of originality.
The songs are funny, the sound is quirky, the boys are sexy. So, do what you know is good for you, and start listening to Pachangacha’s album Berserkabunga.
